I wanted to record a funny experience that happened a little while ago, so here it is!
Journaling:
Brian, you are such great comic relief. A few weeks ago we were
sitting in church and you decided that you wanted to go get a drink.
Your daddy decided to go with you, which was okay with you for a
moment. However, when you got to the door to leave the room, you
decided that you no longer wanted daddy to take you. I heard a
loud “Mama!” I turned around, and when you didn’t see me
getting up to come to you, I heard an even louder “HONEY!!!”
Time slowed while I laughed, got up, went to you, and we headed
out to get your drink. All around us people were laughing at
your cleverness. You’ve heard your daddy call me honey, and
apparently you knew that it would get my attention! -July 2005
