Layout of my labor...all 41 hour of it!!!
I feel like something's missing...too plain?? WOuld love suggestions....
Journaling: I had every intention of having a natural, drug free, labor, but I guess God had other plans for me. I first took some Tylenol after about 12 hours of early labor. Then I took Demoral after about 22 hours of labor, then I took Fentinol after about 32 hours of labor. Then I finally got an epidural around 38 hours of labor along with a dose of Oxytocin. In the mix of all of that I also tried the gas mask but hated it. Out of everything the epidural was a Godsend, nothing to be scared of. Like Dr. Sainz said, it's not like you get a medal for going drug free! I'm pleased with how my labor went because believe it or not, I don't remember the pain; I just remember being so happy, the last 2 exciting hours of labor, anticipating Mia's arrival.
