My dad in his young years... taken soon after they got married. My Dad passed away almost 11 years ago to pancreatic cancer... I cherish every picture I have of him even if it's over 40 old. Mom tells a story of my dad going to take this picture right out of working in the fields, no shower, no shave. Grandma had bought the "ticket" for the photo and he was just not going to miss it!
