This is a beautiful LO Nina! I LOVE what you did using Irene's techniques. Great quote and colors. And your journaling is so sweet it made me tear up! Great job!!!
This is a beautiful page & I love the expression on your daughter's face :) My daughter is about to turn 16 and also has green eyes so I will be saving this to my favorites. Thanks for sharing it!!
This is really beautiful. You sure are getting the hang of Irene's techniques, aren't you? All that embossing is just so pretty and your picture of Rachel of course. GREAT LO NINA!!!
Oh, Nina, this is AMAZING! I can tell so much love and work went into this! Such a beautiful LO for a beautiful girl! What a gorgeous page to document this time in her life! I love everything about it, all the layers and detail and just ALL of it! Stunning work!
This was really hard to photograph today, there is a lot of gold embossing on this lo and it is kind of hard to see, the hidden journaling tag has a lot on it and then the scalloped piece of cs has it along the scalloped edges, but it does not look very metalic in this photo and of course those transparency things were hard to get the glare off... oh. well, this is the best I could do today and believe me I took what seemed to be a zillion pics! Rachel's eyes are a pale green and she wore a green shirt this day and and the light hit them just right and of couse that is why I chose the colors I did here.
This is a lo I did for the scrapperlicious challenge. The techniques that I used:
1. stamped with stazon on a transparency with foam stamps, made two layers and then doodled with white uniball pen. I also used a fancy pants chipboard as a templete for the leaves and traced it on black and then doodled on that with my white uniball pen. I also made my butterflies out of transparency with stamps.
2. I stamped and gold heat embossed on the large green flower.
I really liked how this turned out.
I have hidden journaling under and to the left of the the pic where the other button is; if you pull on the button it slides out.
The journaling reads: Rachel, you are so beautiful at 16; and sweet you are. I love this picutre of you and it reflects what a beautiful young woman you are becoming. This picture also reflects a peace and calmness you tend to carry, along with an inner beauty that lies within you and how priviledged and honored I am to get to share in it every day and to call you my daughter. I am so blessed. I love you, Mommy
