Aww, the Snow Dog is so sweet. On the artistic note, those snowflakes are just fabulous. And what a great idea to make the clay into snow drifts. I bet those terry cloth letters WERE a dickens to cut.
This is my layou for the April 2008 Scrap pack challenge. We we mailed a group of items that we must use in our layouts. Here is where and what of of it:
(1) K& Co naked tags - the purple tag with "dog" on it. (2) brown gosgrain ribbon - used as corners around the picture. (3) white grosgrain ribbon - from top to bottom of lo. (4) clear seed beads - all around the large snowflake and in the center of the smaller ones. (5) terrycloth towel - used as the letters in my title. - which they were the dickens to cut!!! (6) large index card - used to journal about the lo and hidden under the picture. (7) white embroidery floss - my snowflakes (8) brown mini brads (2) - holding down the white ribbon -- you can't see the second because the stand I used to take my picture is covering it. But they are both on the layout. (9) SCULPEY CLAY - used as the snow on my title. (10) bubble wrap - I used it to make the "purple dots on my left hand side of my lo. I painted the bubble wrap with purple metallic paint, then pressed it on the page.
Just to tell alittle about this picture. We had a Scottish Terrier named Stokie for 13 years and he luved to play in the snow. He would be completed covered in snowballs when he came in. We had to put him to sleep in Dec 2007 after he suffered renal failure. We miss his so much, but my daughter said he still lives here --- the Snow Dog is proof. This is certainly a challenge, but I enjoyed being able to scrap a page for a change.
