this is very cool, I love tea even though I don't know that much about it. I was given some very fine tea from China that is rather strong. Prepare differently then we do here in the states.
Wow....this turned out sooooooooo cool!! How clever of you to use the cookie cutter.......just an awesome idea!!! I love the leaves along side, and the title is so very cool!! I really like the touch with the circle too! SEE...............I KNEW you could do it!!! TFS!!!!
This is my FIRST tribute to that magical beverage called tea, chai, the, teja, ta or cha. I have studied tea and the way various cultures weave it into their lives for over 10 years; three of those years I studied weekly with my sensei the fine particulars of Urusenke, or Japanese tea ceremony. The quote on this LO comes from Ralph W. Emerson...."There is great poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea." I cut the circle and 'tea' die-cut out by hand. There is brown silk ribbon and a small clock face at lower right corner. Sub-title is 'camelia sinensis' which is the botanical name for tea. For the photo, I placed an open cookie cutter shaped like a teapot on a plate, poured some tea inside, then gently lifted the cookie cutter which left the tea leaves in the shape of a teapot! TFL
