Another entry for my BOM and aslo for the Depth layering contest.

It's about the one thing most people would never guess or know about me unless i told them.....I was a commercial model. It happened by accident but it lasted about 5 years.

Journaling reads
In 1997 my wedding photographer told me I would make a great model. Being that I was only 5'3” I laughed it off. Then there was a local radio station spokes model contest and I entered. Surprisingly I was chosen as one of the girls!

Later I decided to look into commercial modeling since it accepted shorter models of all ages.

I attend a local model search and was chosen there as well. After that I decided to do more freelance and testing work with different photographers, since my geographic area didn't have a lot of agent opportunities, and I didn't want to move back to N.Y.

In managed to land a TV commercial an Atlanta magazine cover, was a spokes model for 3 years for Kix96, and even worked with an Emmy winning photographer.

But after 5 years I got burned out and couldn't keep with the traveling and fitness regime. But I had a lot of fun while it lasted.
