My daughter loves her Uncle Nutty (my DH's brother Robbie) even though he lives in California and only sees him every so often. She doesn't even know his name is Robbie she has been calling him Uncle Nutty since she was about 18 months old because he's so fun and nutty! Journaling is her words about why she loves Uncle Nutty. I hand drew the swirls because I wanted the lo to be a bit artsy and funky--just like Robbie (he's in creative/graphic design). I am going to enter this in May's color challenge--start with a white background and use at least 5 colors in the lo!
