These are some pics from the last ballet recital I was in- my mom took these at dress rehearsal and I thought these three were pretty funny. First of all, you should know that everyone hated this dance- it was the pointe dance from h*ll! By the time the actual recital came my toes were so sore I could barely go up on pointe. And when I saw these pics I just burst out laughing. Anyway they're of me and two other girls from my class, Olivia and Anne Marie. The top pic is of Olivia and I just love her pained expression, the bottom left pic is Anne Marie and she just has her shoulders slumped as if she's just given up lol. Then the bottom right pic is me and I'm the only one in the pic who's not standing up on pointe. And I changed the pics to b/w because our tutus were burgundy and gold and I wanted to do fun colors for this page. Anyway...I doodled the borders and did all the lettering by hand. The ballerinas are stickers I've had for years and they went perfectly with this page. To do the mats for the pics I used my Sassafras Lass Doodled Border stamps and cut out around them. If you zoom in you can see the pics more clearly. Annnnd...I guess that's all for this one. Thanks for looking!!
