This didn't scan well ..especially since there is so much built onto it..so the light isnt even throughout the LO, but the picture is unbelievably crisp and youcan see a little smile on her face. The colors on this scan just don't do it justice

This is a LO of my daughter on the swing. She is really becoming independant, and growing too fast for Mommy! The Journaling is slightly hidden behind MM wire mesh that is attached with MM photo anchors, as well as staples. I made the frame out of cardstock backing natural fiber weave in tan and a light olive green layed on top of popsicle sticks for depth, I added a MM label holder , as well as an MM white flower tied in the center with the natural fiber, I then painted with MM paint spotlight and cornflower to give a shabby chic sort of feel.I used a thick chipboard, painted with spotlight as well cut into tags, and embellished with bazzil ribbon and various grossgrain. I also hand sewed natural fibers through the tags. On the mesh I used MM circle tags with an MM petal on it and an MM brad to secure it. On the left I used MM mini ribbon slides painted with the MM paint as well to finish off the look.

The Journaling reads:I always knew I wanted to be a mother, but I never realized how hard it would be. It's not the sleepless nights, or the constant worrying. It is realizing that you grow so fast , and how much I will miss that you aren't my baby anymore.

Everyday you amaze me by how fast you grow and learn. I can't believe how much personality and character you have. You are such a Blessing to me.

As you sit on the swing, you smile to yourself. You are so proud that you are on the "Big Girl" swing, and that you can do it all by yourself. I look forward to watching you grow and learn through the years, but for now I just want to cherish these moments while you discover everything fo rthe first time.
