7th pages from my Europe Vacation - Sailing from Spain to France & off the coast of Villefranche.

June 9th (continued)
Our cruise vacation began around two in the afternoon on Sunday. The she was just fabulous, and the staff was wonderful as well.
Mrs. Dunlap and I shared a room that was connected to the room Mr. Dunlap and Ryan shared. At dinner, we met our sweet waitress, Dora who was from Hungary. Our table was right in the middle of the dining hall, adjacent to the piano platform.
Ryan and I finished off the day with a trip to the observatory at the very front of the ship where we could see the sun setting behind the mountains of Spain.

Day Five
June 10th
During the night, the ship sailed from Barcelona to Villefranche, France.
The weather was absolutely beautiful when we took a small boat from the ship to the small port. The group walked around through Villefranche awhile before arriving at the train station. We took the train to Monoco, and then walked to the Monte Carlo Casino, well-known from James Bond movies. Ryan and I were too young to go in, so we had some cokes while the adults went in the casino.
After the casino, we walked around until we found the station again, and by then everyone was tired. Then we shopped a little bit and headed back to the ship.
