17th pages from my Europe Vacation - the Beautiful Island of Malta.

Day Nine
June 14th
The night and morning were spent sailing to the small but proud nation of Malta. After a good night’s sleep and a hearty brunch, we were ready to see some sights and do some shopping.
We stepped off the gangway to behold a bevy of cab drivers trying to get customers. Our driver took us to an open plaza, and from there we walked around, shopping and enjoying the pleasant weather.
Mr. Dunlap found a Rolex store, and while he found a watch to buy, Ryan and I shared a coke. After that, we walked to a little outdoor restaurant where we had some good Maltese pizza. On the way back to the ship, we did a little more shopping and then Ryan and I took a horse-drawn carriage to the pier.
It was a fun, short, easy-going day; just looking around and having a good time.
Onboard, we prepared for the formal dinner that night. Ryan and I had a beautiful picture made on a marble staircase on the ship.
