Ummm...wowza girl! Look at you bein' all hot and everything! LOL! Great job designing the paper, it turned out fabulous. The elements are perfect too. Rockin' design!!
Wish my beach looked that good, but I am trying and have lost a good amount already. When I get there, I can post a bikini photo, too if this grandma is brave enough.
You did an excellent job with the back ground. Great coloring. Love that you actually look like you're on the beach with the little dunes running along front of the photo.
For my BOM - a picture from my 'modeling' days. My favorite place to be is the beach at sunset.
JOURNALING READS:
If I could be anywhere most days it would be on a tropical paradise island. I grew up near beaches and spent not only the summer days, but all seasons nights and days at the beach It was a great place for exercising, playing sports with friends, going for long walks to just think and a romantic place under the moonlight. The beach is where I feel free because everything is so open and you don't feel 'stuck' in one place.
one of my most favorite memories was being at Tybee Island with my sister in law. We decided to just drive out to the beach during a full moon it was low tide and the tide was so far out where the inlet met the ocean, that we could walk at least a quarter mile on wet sand before hitting the water. It was like standing in the middle of the ocean. There was water all around us, yet no water near us, and the moon lit the water up and made it look a silvery white. It was breathtaking.
I also love tropical climates more than anything. I am cold natured and live for temperatures between 75-85 degrees. One of my favorite vacations was going to the Bahamas with my best friend Suzanne. It was a glorious week of the beach, Palm trees, clear blue waters, jet skiing, boating and tropical fruity drinks. If I could spend every day like that I would be in paradise The only thing that would make it better would be to have my family with me.
I made the paper by using I Kan Dee Basic Brights chalks, Colorbox Pigment Cats Eyes Inks and Folk Art acryllic paints.
The Flower is by Imaginisce Tiger Lily in Saffron.
