hidden journaling reads
I have always said that I do not like 4 year olds. They are bossy, whiny, tempermental and just plain mean at times. You sailed through the terrible twos and whizzed through the three year old stage with cuteness. But the day you turned Four you became a monster.

• You argue about everything. If I say yes, you say no.
*Any attempt to brush your hair means war (See photo)
• You tend to mimic everything I say and do and use it against me (Do not interrupt me when I'm on the phone Mommy. Mommy, do not be mean to Daddy. Mommy, you did not finish your dinner.)
• You whine instead of speak and every little scolding requires tears and dramatic flinging of the body onto the floor.
• You are spiteful and evil when not being watched (tonight you colored on your pants, your table and your face because I would not play with you).
• Your moods change faster than a bipolar schizophrenic on speed!
• When playing with your friends it's your way or the tattle tale highway.
• Procrastination to do anything you're not interested in is a requirement. The later we're running in the morning to go to school/work the slower you seem to move.
• I have to ask you 5 times to do something and even then I have to YELL at you before you will do what I ask.
• The rapid fire repetitive rhetorical questions are too much to handle (what do horses like to drink, what do dogs like to drink, what do bugs like to drink, etc).
• You have set a record of calling my name 30 times in one hour to keep my attention.
• Eating any meal requires constant reminders to keep your butt in your seat, your feet off the floor, and to have less talking & more eating.

You're in a stage where you're no longer a baby, but not yet an independent big kid, though you would like to be. And God knows when you don't get your way the world will hear about it. But on the bright side you're determined and know what you want in life, and won't stop till you get it!
