Journaling reads; "One day (about nine years ago) Jerry and I went out for a walk. We walked all down in the woods and then to the creek up by the highway. We saw something moving in the bushes but couldn't tell what it was. Soon after we got back home, we figured it out. It was Ginger! She had followed us home. She was just a little 30lb. puppy then, all legs and ears. She was so adorable and sweet, we just had to keep her. Jerry said she would be his front porch dog. We took her to get shots, and about a week later she got really sick. She had Parvo (a virus that usually kills puppies). We took her back to the vet and got her treated and she got through it. We were very blessed. The vet told us that she was probably about three months old and most likely had some Great Dane in her. Now, she weighs about 130 lbs! But she is still the sweetest dog. And Jerry did get his porch dog, that's where she spends most of her time along with her best friend, Buddy (the swinger)!

Ginger really is the SWEETEST. To me, these pics just show that. She is HUGE, and most people are terrified when she barks at them. We have a six foot wooden fence around our front yard (about an acre for her, Buddy, Molly, Ruby, and Sophie to play in). She can put her front paws up on the fence and look over! Kinda freaks folks out that don't know how gentle she is! She is my SWEETheart!!!!!. TFL!!!!!
