I really love this LO. I love that you skipped the traditional baby-boy colors and went with something so timeless and careworn-looking. This LO COMPELLED me to write a comment, I love it so much.
WOWOWOWOWOW!! I love this! I don't know how I missed it!!! Okay, I know! I wasn't registered at SB.cob back then!!! :) This is gorgeous! I love everything about it! The way you did the title is just *WOW* TFS!
I love this LO. How wonderful it will be for Jackson to read when he gets older. Who wouldn't want to know how much his mother loved him and watched him in wonder as a baby. Very moving LO and use of color.
This layout is stunning! I love your heartfelt journaling and the way Jack's sweet picture is still the focus of your page. I hope you submit this page in the CK contest.
I was on a conference call and decided to do a slideshow of all the LO's in the MM Contest and I was rushing to figure out how to stop the darn thing when I saw this LO. Absolutely breathtaking!!! WOW... I love it. Neat idea about using th esame cardstaock for a title... I was always wondering about that. TFS

I LOVE THIS LAYOUT!!! You made great use of your embellishments. It looks very 'artsy', but the photo is still the focal point of the layout. I love your style, keep up the good work!

WONDERFUL! Heather, I absolutely love this. You have used great embellishments with the tags, fibers and stars, but your photo still is the most prominent thing on the page. Your journaling is so sweet and meaningful. Perfect!

Janine,
The title isn't X-actoed, I just printed it landscaped on the same color card stock as the background and then attached it. I cut a 12 x 12 piece down to 8.5 x 12, ran it through the printer and then placed it on the original cardstock. You can barely see the seamline, I covered it with the vellum journaling and the matted pic on the right.
They do grow up way too fast. My oldest just started Kindergarten this year and I remember him being born like it was yesterday.....if only they would stay little a while longer than they really do *sigh* I guess that's what makes us keep wanting to have more!
This is so beautiful! I got all teary reading your letter to him, it is true they grow up too fast. It's like you just want to stop time for a while and admire what God has givin you. Great Job! Saleana
Omgoodness, heather, you are starting to clog my favorites!! Hee hee! I seriously love all your choice of embellishments, and those nostalgiques are perfect! Love it!

LO of my youngest ds. I really wanted to do something with this photo but didn't want to do the traditional baby blue colors. I really liked how it turned out. The journaling is some musing I have for my little guy. Thanks for looking!
I didn't want to use the RS tag stickers as stickers, so I kept them on the clear backing and just cut them out. Not only did it make them "un-sticky" but gave them some weight. The metal tag in the title says "DREAM". It's kinda hard to see in the scan.
