This is a picture of my daughter and her favorite friend. The journaling reads:
Becky's best friend was a little orange monkey we named Fred. He was always with her. When she was four months old, we drove straight through from Dallas to Saint Louis for a wedding. Of course Fred went with us. During the trip, he was "christened" and his new name became Sir Fredrick of Pukebottom. During the next several months he was christened over and over. Alas, the last time I washed him, I put a touch of bleach in the water and that was the end of Sir Fred. When Becky was in college, she had to create a cartoon for an art class she was taking. She illustrated and wrote the whole story about how Mom murdered poor Fred!
