I did this LO for BJ's Scrap Pack Mini-Challenge. We had to include items sent to us in a pack. Here is how I used them all:
(5) popsicle sticks - I broke them in half, sanded the sharp edges down, and painted them white. Then I made a little picket fence out of them.
(10) tear off tickets - I cut them into triangles, turned them over to the blank side, and painted them yellow, then orange and attached them to a circle to make the sun. All ten are there; it's just that a couple are hidden under the photo.
(3) black photo corners - these make up the arrows
(4) metallic heart beads - it's hard to see, but I stamped and colored butterflies, then added these as the butterfly wings for 2/4 of the butterflies.
(1) metal washer - I painted it white and used it as the dot over the "i" in "spring".
white twine - I wrapped it around the picket fence I made.
(3) gold eyelets - these are in the cluster of buttons at the bottom.
This LO is a lot brighter IRL. I took the pic in bad lighting because I wanted to post it!
The photo has "British Car Show, Lewes DE, 5/3/08" on it. We always know it's spring when we start getting notices to attend the car shows. That is my DH's TR7 in the photo.
