How sweet. Love the design and especially love the journaling - brought a tear to my eye thinking of how my own children are growing before my eyes! Thanks for sharing!
3:36 am and a cry over the monitor, “Mommy, rock you. Please, rock you Mommy.” This chair is more than a rocking chair, it's where we have spent endless hours nursing, staring into each other's eyes and talking…talking about our day, hopes and fears (yours and mine), where we have read goodnight moon and the ‘backhoe book' just one more time, again. Where hurts have been healed, stories have been told, songs have been sung and kisses have been given. In this chair we have rocked away bad dreams and welcomed in all of our dreams for the future. Here we have fallen asleep together, mommy and son. It's your place of refuge whenever life gets a little scary. So, here we are, wee hours of the morning. I can practically see you growing as we rock, and rock, and rock. 3:36 am, “Do you want me to rock you Spencer?” “Yes Mommy, rock you.”
