This is my other entry for the May color challenge, black background. I used the crinkled distressed technique for the strips of paper. I used vintage photo, fired brick, and weathered wood. I also used cream for my matting, and silver and copper brads.
This is my son Dylan and his Daddy at the young author's fair celebration. Dylan got 3rd place out of the entire 3rd grade and 1st place out of his class. Needless to say, I can't wait til' the story home for me to read. All I know is that it is titled, "The Cat that Barked".. lol.. should be interesting to see what he came up with. He is very creative with a huge imagination. And he is very clever I might add. :)
