This was created for a circle journal for the Virtual Crop Week group. I’ve met some really great ladies through that group. We laugh, we chat, we crop, we learn, we share and sometimes we cry together. We are always great supprt to one another.
We decided to do 8x8 layouts, and include things such as our likes, dislikes and something unique about ourselves. To fit all of that on to one page, I made it interactive. I made a “mini book” for the journaling. I used vellum paper with a swirl pattern as the backing and made the journaling blocks on the computer.
To make the mini-book, I cut the vellum into a square, then folded it in half, and then folded that in half. Opened it up and cut along one fold. This created the ability to fold the quarters of the vellum in and use one surface to adhere to the overall page. So you end up with 7 additional surfaces. I used ribbons as pulls to help open the pages. I put the something unique about me on a hidden tag.
Many of my favorites are included; the color green, circles, swirls, flowers, gems, ribbon, flourishes, stamps, and of course stickles!
