This was done with the the items in the scrap pack sent out by bjscrapsalot. I had never sewn on a lo nor used sculpey clay so it was a stretch. Surprisingly, my dh said it was not nearly as good as my usual. Anyways ... 1. Chipboard tag- frame for small picture 2. Brown grosgrain-anchoring the tag 3. White sculpey clay- name and date square 4. Terry Cloth towel- used to frame the cardstock 5. Clear seed beads- lined up along the brown ribbon 6. White grosgrain ribbon-lining the left edge 7. Brown brads- attaching the white ribbon 8. White embroidery thread-sewn along the lower left corner 9. Bubble Wrap- used to mat the main photo. I wish I could have actually wrapped Jesse in bubble wrap that day. Lol. 10. Index card - journaling under the bubble wrap. Journaling reads:
Jesse has wanted a snowboard for so long. Aunt Kara found one on craigslist for $25 and Grandpa Johnson gave him $30 for Christmas. A few phone calls later, Jesse was the proud owner of a new board. In February, Uncle Chad and Aunt Rachel took him to Mt. Shasta. He did great. Fell just a couple of times. It was his first time ever at a ski park and he was a natural. Jesse had to miss the next day of school due to being so sore the couldn't move. He slept more than 15 hours, woke up, ate and then took a nap. I wish I could have wrapped him in bubble wrap. I was terrified he would get hurt bad. But God took care of him.
