I come from a long, long line of crafters, and I have been fortunate enough to inherit a boon for my other hobby, embroidery. Vintage embroidery patterns, hundreds and hundreds of yards of embroidery floss, eighty year old hoops... it's humbling and awesome. At any rate, some months after I started scrapbooking (tentatively) my grandmother being one of the earlier recipients of one of my projects, dug through her ENORMOUS collection of sewing notions and found me the most beautiful vintage trim. I plan to use some of it for my Ancestry book.
