2 Concerts I attended in the fall of 2003. John Mayer photos from various websites, Jars of Clay flier copied from one that was on my car. Tickets are laminated with acid-free contact film to protect pages.
Journaling Left: As an early birthday present to me, Andrew bought tickets to see John Mayer at the convention center in OKC. We went out to eat beforehand, and got there just in time to stand in the enormously long t-shirt line, where we bought matching black shirts. The concert was really laid-back and fun. We enjoyed the time to be together and watch one of our favorite artists play. It was one of the best birthday presents ever!
Journaling Right: The Jars of Clay and Caedmon's Call concert was at the Journey church in Norman, a few blocks from OU. We got to sit about 3 rows from the front with a friend of Andrew's that we ran into there at the church. The concert was fairly small and quite intimate, more of a coffee shop setting that arena. Caedmon's Call performed all their classic tunes, plus a cover of a Third Day song that was incredibly moving. Jars of Clay was a lot of fun and you couldn't help but sing along. Andrew and I had a great time.
