Oh Tessa, what sweet journaling! How lucky they are to have you for an aunt! They are some little cuties!!! Quick and simple huh? Well, I like this one a lot! Really does put the focus on that awesome pic! Beautiful job!!!
sometimes simple is better in this case it is! what a wonderful pic and too much detail would of taken away from them and the great journaling you created, love the stamping its great and the strip of pp adds some great color, good job on this!
Hey Tessa, You can get by with simple on your artwork when your photo and journaling are that GREAT!!!!! WOW! You can feel your warm heart beating down. I'm so proud of what a warm and tender woman you have become. Those boys are very lucky to have Aunt Tessa and Uncle Steve in their life to love them! You should make a copy of this LO and send it to them. I just love how you take the time to tell them how special they are!!! All children really need to hear this more often. Very Proud !!!!! LUV YA LOTS!!!MA&PA
I love seeing your name in the gallery - your work always inspires me to create! I really like this...I think your stamping looks great and the pic is perfection...it pops right out of the LO!
The photo is striking, Tessa. I love how you've enlarged it. THe design is perfect. But your heartfelt letter to them is what makes this already fantastic layout so very special. Great work {as usual}!!
The first thing other than the photo and the journaling that caught my eye was the stamping and the inked edges! I like how it turned out! I thought oh cool distressed...it's all good! :) I like the brads too!:)
Wow, I love this journaling. You know, they look like they are at that age, where they start growing like beanpoles. So, ya better soak up this age as much as possible. And such a terrific age it is.. the jokes, pranks, etc. I love the pix, it is perfect, and the papers and colors here are perfect. The stamping looks fine Tessa Ann!
This has to be one of the MOST simplest, and quickest LO's I have EVER done...lol!! I wanted the picture and journaling to be the focus. I wish the stamping would have turned out better......ugh!
I took this photo of my nephews this past weekend at my SIL's baby shower for her 3rd son... :)
JOURNALING READS: Nick and Layne, our first nephews,I cannot believe how much have you boys have grown since our last visit. Layne you are almost as big as Nick now. I love how you definitely have your own voice and opinions. I adore how you will tell exactly how you feel and don't give up until someone listens. I hope you never loose that. Nick something has came over you since we last saw you in April. You have always been a good boy, but I notice this change about you. You aren't interested as much in toys and playing. You have become very intellectual and more enjoy sports and humor. I enjoyed sitting on the couch with you at Grandpa and Grandma's house while you recited knock-knock jokes and riddles. You are still our same nephew, but you are growing into a young man. A very honorable one too. One thing is for sure, my dear first nephews, I am so proud of how the young men you both are becoming. I look forward to our next visit and seeing how much you have grown. I am so proud of you Nick and Layne. - Love Aunt Tessa 8/2005
