This (Layout 1-Left side) is for Marsha's (RN2007) May Flowers Challenge. This is for the Store bought Group. It is a photo of my Granddaughter "Bryce". I also printed out on Kodak paper a photograph of a real daffodil bloom and added it to the corner. The top left corner I used Prima flowers... bottom is white and topped it off with a yellow for the center (like the daffodils that Bryce is sitting amongst!. I wanted to add the journaling so I left a slit on the left side of the photo mat open so that I could journal on the tag, then placed a bright sheer yellow ribbon on the tag to pull it out to read. I used a yellow butterfly sticker from the K&Co Daffodil collection. I wanted one of the wings to be lifted so I used double stick adhesive foam on it to raise it up as if it was fluttering. On ALL my layouts for Bryce I try to incorportate a "ladybug" because that is what I call her. THere is a tiny one on the top of the tag near the yellow ribbon and another one in the lower left corner of the poem. There is a Daffodil poem that I found on another web site and printed it out and matted it in the bottom right corner. The left side is a K&Co border that has a 3-D look to it. I used a Maya Road naked Swirl and used green glitter on it. I used my Cricut to cut out the word "daffodil" in yellow card stock, added a little sprinkle of the green glitter to it then used Aleene's Paper Glaze on them to give them a dimensional glossy look. The metal word "Bloom" is from Dress-It-Ups" in the daffodil button collection. To read the poem, you will have to go to the next photo in my gallery as I hope it is readable. TFL
