Oh, this is absolutely gorgeous! Love the vintage look and the rub-on swirl - the buttons, flowers & lace are beautiful - just fabulous! What a tribute to your grandfather - GREAT WORK!!!
Well, I personally think this is a beautiful layout. Well planned, thoughtful journaling (please add somehow to this page, perhaps on a piece of paper in a vintage type envelope). I think you're doing great. The story is absolutely beyond words and encouraging to all of us. Blessings, Keleia
My Grandfather in front of the house he was born in, in 1922, in Ontario, Canada. For his 85th birthday in May 2007, a trip was planned for him, my mother, and my aunt to travel there to visit relatives. As a suprise I also flew there without his knowledge. It is a week I will never forget. Thankfully we did this, because on Father's day of 2007, he had a stroke and passed in July.
The history, and the man in this picture means more to me than I can describe. I am so grateful that I was able to take it as it was the last photo taken of him. For the last to be taken in front of the house that he entered this world in... Still puts me in tears!
This LO was given to my Mom for Mother's day 2008. TFL!
PS. I promise everything is straight (and to crop just to the LO is another story)! Still not great at taking pics of LOs!
