Last month we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Caltex Refinery. My father worked there for the first 5 years it was open. I took some pictures of Vince and Dad and also of Mum and Rhiannon. These are the latter set of pics.
Journalling: "A beautiful day, although we were almost blown away by the wind. The sun shone warm as we explored all the attractions at the Caltex Refinery Family Day. We took a tour of the refinery, looked at old equipment, plans and photographs. The part you loved the best was inspecting a brand new ambulance. You were uncertain about climbing aboard the fire engine but went along with it.
Grandma always loves looking after you and you were content to snuggle into her and stay out of the wind whenever possible. Together you make a beautiful pair."
