The following items were given to us for BJ’s May Scrap Pack Challenge and here is how I used them:
• 4 ½” x 12” white felt – The Bear Fairy is made from the white felt (chalked around the edges with brown chalk). There are also two flowers in the spray that the base is the white felt that was inked 2 color pinks. • 1 yd lime ribbon – The tassels on the Fairy Wand and ribbon loops throughout the flower spray • 1 Heidi Swapp bling border (9 rhinestones) – 5 were used on the points of the Fairy Wand and 4 on the petals of the Fairy Dress • 1 Heidi Swapp crimson large flower – Folded into the Fairy Bear Dress • 4 mini pom poms – used as centers for 4 of the flowers • 4 Kajinker jems (2 white, 2 lt green) – Lt green ones used as flower centers of two flowers and the 2 white ones painted gold and used as flower centers • 2 silver eye pins – used as the wand part of the Fairy Bear Wand • 1 Heidi Swapp ghost flower – I first used it as a mask for the background using white chalk ink. Then I used it as a stamp to continue making a background pattern. Finally, I dabbled it with white chalk then painted the rose colored edges and dots for one of the flowers in the spray. • 12” crocheted lace – one piece used to belt the middle section of the Fairy Bear Dress and the rest used to make Fairy wings. • 1 small white tag – I cut the eyelet part of the tag. I then inked the tag and printed the words for the garden sign on it. Then inked the edges. • 1 5x7 pc cardboard – Stenciled swirls on the cardboard, cut out and adhered paper on top, then painted gold and green. I also cut out the base of the two felt flowers and used the cardboard to pop them up.
