This photo of my parents was taken in June 2007 when they went to a Rock & Roll evening with their regular dance group. They both turned 75 earlier in that year and go dancing 3 or 4 times a week since they retired. They have always loved dancing and are always willing to show off and danced a lot before we kids came along. Mum also goes Line Dancing with her sister once a week and does Tap Dancing with a group of ladies who go around entertaining in Nursing Homes. I tell my Mum she should be in the nursing home herself, LOL!, and sometimes she is older than the people she is entertaining. She complains non-stop about her aching legs but when you suggest that she gives it up there’s an almighty uproar about begrudging her doing what makes her happy. We can’t win and we tease her constantly about it. Dad just loves having her in his arms and showing her off and they are always perfectly color and theme co-ordinated with each other. They spend a lot of time making sure they look right! I remember one night in a club sitting at a table in the cafeteria with Dad , he was watching Mum walk away from us up to the bistro and he said to me, ‘She still looks good ’. Their outfits were straight B&W so it was a good choice for this challenge.
