Love this layout. Graph paper for school is great, although I had to keep adjusting the leading so the words sat on the lines. I don't like it when the text doesn't sit on the lines!
Journaling Reads:
Alaina was SOOOO excited for 2nd grade to start which was a huge relief for her parents. Kindergarten, of course, was an adjustment, but 1st grade seemed even worse! She had to be shoved out the door each morning, sometimes with tears in her eyes, for weeks. But this year she kept repeating how she COULDN’T WAIT for school to start! When we went to Westfield’s Open House to meet her teacher and drop off supplies, Alaina said she didn’t want to leave, she wanted school to start RIGHT NOW! When spelling homework came home the first night however, her “school’s awesome” attitude changed momentarily. But that, too, has found a happy place in the schedule. GO 2nd GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!
