Pictures of my Aunt and my brother. LO looks better IRL, my scanner is not hooked up and digi camera looks like it is on the fritz (what is a girl to do?).
Journaling:
family bond is capture in many photos and there are two pictures that display a family bond like no other. The pictures are of my Aunt Judy and my brother Lexi. One was from 1975 and the other was from 2005, hence the title “30 Years”. When I pulled the pictures out, many memories came rushing back. Growing up Lexi was the only boy in the family, the only nephew, boy cousin and brother. With three strikes against him, it was my aunt who formed a special bond with him. It was almost like she felt she had a duty to protect him from us girls, but boy was it the other way around. We needed saving from him, what a little terror. When I look back and compare the past to the present, it is amazing to see how much Lexi has changed. He went from a wild and crazy, temper tantrum throwing boy, who grew up to be a very smart, charming, loving, and not to mention, good looking man. I guess that explains Aunt Judy’s complete love and devotion to him because she saw exactly what Lexi was and what he would be in the future. This is dedicated to both Aunt Judy and Lexi, I’m so glad you guys are in my life!
