The month of May is HUGE here in Indy. Going to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time is like a rite of passage here. My FIL works as a reporter for the speedway so the Indy 500 and everything surrounding it is very close to his heart. The 3 of us took Sam there for the first time 2 weeks ago. *warning* LOTS more LO's to come! We were concerned Sam would get bored or not be into it, but the total opposite was true. He had a ball! I was really just along on the trip to be the photographer because I wanted dh and FIL to have this be their experience with Sam. The Pagoda is the building in the background and is iconic at the track. I thought capturing them all walking hand in hand with it in the background was fitting as they started a new tradition. TFL!
