Dads are wonderful aren't they? It's amazing how many improvements have been made over the years. I am thankful that life is a little easier to manage now. TFS.
it amazes me the things they have invented over time to make living with various difficulties "work". I'm so glad you have a relatively positive outlook and you are willing to share.
This may be tmi for some. This is the insert I wear with my prosthesis ( aka: artifical leg). This style did away with the strap kind. I put my leg (stump) in it and then into the prosthesis. My first artifical leg had a large brace-like thing that went around my thigh and then if I am remembering right a belt. It's been 40+ years, so I'm not sure. I do remember the ones with the straps tho. They had bolts to hold the strap on. My other knee used to stay bruised from hitting the bolt on the inside. That is until Daddy got the inspiration for taking the bolts off and replacing them with pennys. It worked and no more bruises!
