And just to be different; I love the Ann Griffin frame! After enlarging this I could make out the Mother & Daughter designs over the frame. Are they something new A.G. designed? Your wedding album will someday be a treasured family heirloom. They are so fortunate to have someone so creative in their lives.
Your mother must be very proud of her little girl growing up to be such a fine lady. And friend. Love to you both...Trudy
My LO with my mom at my wedding. I used a lot of light blue, which picks up on her dress (and is her favorite color - it was the color she used in her own wedding). Lots of hand-cut Anna Griffin details, including the big flower (which I chalked to be light blue) and the ribbons at the bottom. The title is printed on ivory vellum, hand-cut into an oval, then mounted onto light blue vellum.
My bouquet was a copy of the one she carried as a bride, 40 years earlier; my florist designed Mom's corsage to match the corsage she wore as she left her wedding reception. The flowers are special, so I used a lot of flowers in this LO.
The journaling on the bottom is an adapted quote that says: A mother is not only someone to lean on, but also the person who teaches you to stand without leaning.
