I must admit, that I have a hero, an artist hero, on this website. Her screen name is Mirabeel, and her talent and creativity just blow me away, so I am always attempting to make cards even close to as lovely as hers! This is one such attempt, that I believe comes close! The envelope/outer part of the card is wild asparagus paper, topped with a K&Co. embossed vellum which I burned around the edges. Then I topped that with some old hydrngea blossoms and small white blossoms. Then I took a swirl from BoBunny bleached bare naked chipboard - Fancy Frills, sanded it, inked it with burnt copper ink, dried that, then painted it with Tim Holtz Distress Cackle Paint in Old Paper color. Once that dried I attached it to the card and then topped it with a clock charm I've had in my stash for a while. The inner tag/card is coated with Anna Griffin double sided cardstock. I used heavier card stock in the middle, but put one side of the cardstock on front, the other side of the back, so it's got a nice sturdy feel to it. I punched a hole in top and attched gold satin ribbon and old ivory lace through it. For the card, I added a 'dream' rub-on and a pair of wing rub-ons from Melissa Frances. Thanks for looking!
