Such a sweet page and I love the journaling here...so heartfelt! Love the addition of the butterflies as they are symbol of change. Wishing your son only the best, so that he can get back on his feet again. TFS!
So beautiful and touching Glenda! Another fav! You did a great job of putting father and daughter pictures together. If I ever knew how to get to the challenges to vote....your layouts would always get my vote! Hugs to you!
so long as he is proactive in recovery and support groups that can help him he will make it through..he must believe that there is a greater world all around him just waiting for him to be a part of.I am a recoverying alcholic and addict.Have been diagnosised with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic-stress disorder (life has been very hard for me)BUT drugs are not the answer(even if they are prescription).Jumping off that endless,go-nowhere treadmill was what saved me...it took courage and facing up to my part in the how I reacted to situations that were beyond my controll. Was it easy ...NO...was it worth it...you bet cha!!Change is inevitable...nothing we can do to stop it(short of suicide...which became a possibility in my mind at the time).Have him stop by my gallery to keep in touch if he needs support and someone to share his pain with...I will listen if he is ready for the truth and ready to take life by the balls again!!sorry to ramble but your LO touched me so deeply that I felt it was my responsibilty to reach out to him....powerful LO...gotta go- its making tears well up ...

My son has been in bad health for many years. One of which are migraine headaches. The causes for his migraines include bad relationships, a vehicle accident, a really bad experience, severe health problems such as scolios, asthma, extra vertebrae in the back, spina bifida, a broken back, mitral valve prolapse, heart attack. His health caused him to lose his business (along with phone company undercutting what he was charging). It caused a deep depression. He has been unable to see his daughter, Jessie for two years. Jessie's mother brought her to visit as Jessie believe her dad would die and she would never see him again. As my son puts it "we're attached at the hip" He has to put both feet on the ground and strive to get out of his depression and start living a normal life. I take terrible pictures. The two of them I took together were so fuzzy that they were unusable. I put two separate pictures together, saved them as one jpeg, then did the layout. This is for the journaling challenge for FABLADY! Maybe more!
