I made the fence from photo hanging wire and scraps of many papers I'd used throughout the book or had planned to use but never had a purpose for them. The wire became very twisty and unhappy to work with me but I just hammered down the twists and call it good ol' fashioned charm :)

Journaling reads: A surrey, pitchforks, cowboy boots and hats, nineteen songs, two acts, choreography for a good ole' fashioned hoedown (smudged), a kickline, the little wonder, a three day bellyache..., ...and two bits, hundreds of lines to memorize, 'learn to drawl' lessons, a cast of over forty, months of work, countless smiles, three standing ovations, ... , one great show.

The surrounding parts are lines from the song "Oklahoma" : "Where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain, and the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain" "You're doin' fine Oklahoma, Oklahoma, OK!"
