Awesome job on this!! geez....it must have taken hours with that exacto knife! The paper dolls look GREAT!! Make sure you copy your description and tuck it in a pocket in the back, so you can remember all those things! VEry cool here!
I'm a paper doll! Look... turn me sideways & I'm skinny! :-) Seriously... fantastic job & way to go, knocking out two challenges with one LO. Fan-friggin'-tastic!
Here's to you RETROJULIE!!I did this LO as an attempt to go in the "Low Tech" challenge for June. The way I came up with the title was sooooo easy because it was your idea to take that 2 hour scrapbooking class and to get onto this site!!AND YOU are the reason I have an addiction to paper!! HA-HA!I tri-folded the retro pp and drew an updated version of the paper dolls and then cut them out with scissors as I had done in grade school. I used the small star/ladies designs and fonts from the computer, scanned them on photo paper and used an Exacto knife to cut them out.Kudos to all the scrappers that use this method for lettering because cutting the title was the most difficult!!!!I used a ruler and my Exacto knife to get the straight edge of the solid stripes. Not a single embellishment was purchased....all photo cut-outs :).To my surprise a new challenge started called "Scrap A Scrapper".KISMET!!!!!This will be my 1st time putting a LO in more than 1 challenge.I used 3 paper dolls for a more effective paper doll "chain".One represents Julie, one for me and the other for this wonderful community.Sorry scrapper dudes....but this LO is for my GIRLfriend.(~~~tee~hee~~~)
