Made these thank-you cards for each person who gave us a gift. I used leftover paper from our invitations. I had a lot of paper left over from the inserts so I used that for the main card, then I also had a LOT of 1" scraps from the invitations so I used those to make the cross pieces.
I used a small flower punch to make the flowers and liquid glue to stick them down just in the center of the flower so the petals stand up slightly. Then I used dimensional paint to make a dot for the flower center (hadn't heard of brads yet but I think this looks really nice! Just don't know if the paint was archival.....)
Finally, I used a stamp for the "Thank You" using paint again, not ink. Originally I had planned to use a Thank You stencil from my Card Boss system, but the paint kept leaking under the stencil and looked horrible, so since I already had the paint, I just used that for the stamp rather than ink. Turned out nice! Has just a bit of dimension that ink wouldn't have provided.
