This is for my circle journal group...this is actually my lo for SeesterK's If journal. The if question I picked was "If you had to choose a quote that you wish you were known for having spoken, what words would you have uttered?". This was so though provoking that my dh and I went round and round for awhile and I finally chose the following statement..."Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
Savoring each moment means enjoying each & every small detail: hearing the belly laughs of children, an afternoon nap, enjoying your favorite meal, the first snowfall of the season, spending time doing the things you love, baking a birthday cake, reading a great book, snuggling with a loved one, enjoying a cup of coffee, traveling to a new place, eating ice cream, hearing "I love you", working at a job you love, holding your child for the first time, walking hand and hand with a loved one along the ocean's edge, when a child finally begins to read, the first bloom of spring, meeting a new friend, realizing your mom is your best friend, spending a war summer's night with friends, being with family and friends, taking time to savor life's blessings."

This is the left side of my 2 pager. I just finished it and just love how it came out...still working on the right. Hope you like it Heidi!!!
