awww. true and honest jouranling. And once they hit school, the toot jokes turn into farty mcfart fart jokes and they are never ending...but you gotta love a boy :)
Aww! I just love this Erin! The journaling is fabulous (your kids are going to have such a treasure with all you have written). Cute photos and the simplicity is great for this one! Just love it!
OOOOO nice journaling mom!! what for pp is that? i love it!!! i know you didn't spend all that time doodling flowers lol. or did you? cause you're good at it.
is that enough crack? or you need more?
okay, cause there's more to say. that kid is adorable. love the way you put the journaling on the page and TOTALLY love the folded flower with the clock for the center. i have got to fold a flower someday and use it, i love the way it looks.
awesome job, erin!
I haven't scrapped in a couple months, totally lost my mojo, but I spent the last week with only one boy at home and chumming around with Ryan got me thinking and writing and taking pictures and, well scrapping.
I love how this turned out, the colors are a little better IRL. LOVE that sheet of paper, have been holding onto it forever but I think it is wonderful for this page.
I tried to add about six hundred other things to this but it wanted to be simple. :)
Journaling says: I've never been one of those moms who regrets her children's growing up. Although it's always been a little bittersweete, watching you grow and change has always been a joyful and marvelous adventure. Lately though I have to admit I have been struggling to accept the reality of a son going to kindergarten in a few short months-- a son who thinks toots are funny-- a son who is developing real friendships and relationships-- a son with two wiggly front teeth. These realities have been so hard for me to face as I watch my baby slip away. BUT-- this is waht is real about you right now. What is real is that you are a great kid. This week with Sam gone I've had time to watch you be you-- and I love what I see (aside from the toot jokes). I'm so grateful for the much-needed reminder that even though your baby days are gone, the real Ryan is a wonderful, smart, friendly, funny, awesome little boy. I love you Buddy. Love, Mom 6/1/08
