Hi everyone :)

I love this pic of DS - he was only 5 months old here - its so soft, he looks like an angel. Anyway, I thought it fit with this LO...the card is from the White House...read the journaling and you'll understand ;) The journaling is behind the pic.

Journaling says -

When I was pregnant I did so much research! I wanted to be sure that you had
the best of everything. I read books, magazines, talked with anyone and everyone
and surfed the web. One day during one of my web searches I came across a site
that was called White House Welcome. It said that when a baby is born you can
send a card to the President of the United States and he will send you a card
welcoming that baby into the world! I wasn’t really sure if it was legit or not so
I saved it in my favorites and after you were born I sent the information that the
site requested to the White House! Months passed and I had forgotten about
sending the information, until one day in August when I was checking the mail,
there it was! A letter addressed to YOU from the WHITE HOUSE! I was so
excited but I made sure to open the envelope very carefully - because who knows,
you may become president and then this will be worth a million bucks! Inside the
envelope was a card from The President and First Lady!
I am not involved with “politics” David. I simply trust in my country to do what
it right for my family and myself. You are American Made baby, and that is a
beautiful thing! Love, Mama 9/05
