This is an 8 x 8 layout using my new favorite technique of hiding things and making the viewer interact with the book. Touchy, feely, that’s me! Also, I can fit so much more on a normal page that way! This particular page slides down into a top loading page protector with the top flap on the outside of the protector. It opens to reveal an 8 x 14 layout with journaling and additional photo.

The lyrics on the top page are from a British band, Scarlet Division, from the song, Just the Start. Which, you may recognize as the theme song to Oliver’s Twist on the Food Network (love that show and him!)

This page was a real departure for me journaling wise. My normal journaling is basic, snippet style, describing who, what, where, and when. This is the first page of my “book about me” book and I wanted to explain why I was making a book about myself ;) , so I wrote the journaling more diary style. I guess that’s what you would call it. I’m not going to put the journaling here in this description area as it is SOOOOO long. I think you should be able to read it, if you so desire, by clicking on the “Who Me inside” image for the full size version.

Anyway, thanks for looking and here is what I used!
