Journaling reads, "Self-control and scrapbooking don't really go together. When Yvonne, my BSB (Best Scrapbooking Buddy), and I go shopping, it's a dangerous thing! I always set a budget, but I have yet to actually stick to it. Yvonne and I thought we'd have a little fun by showing our husbands what willpower and discipline we possess.
But in all seriousness, this is an area of my life that I struggle with. Whether it is overeating, spending, or taming my tongue, self-control is a fruit of the spirit I have yet to acquire. Before the next Expo I need to repent, and spend lots of time in prayer asking for the fruit of the spirit that continues to elude me . . . SELF CONTROL
