This was for a challenge from another site...The object was to choose a book or movie from your childhood and do a layout about how it influenced you. I did mine about the Clifford books I read as a kid (I'm way older than the tv version!)
Journaling reads:
"I don't remember much of what I read as a child but I do know that Clifford the Big Red Dog has stuck with me all through the years, even till today. I "found" him again while in college when I bought this stuffed version.
He has been VERY well loved! I slept with him every night. I used to take pictures of him. He was the support under my belly when I was pregnant. He was the focal point for me when I gave birth to my babies. He has always been there for me. I've repainted his eyes many times, recovered his nose with felt twice and have even re-stuffed his wobbly neck. He now wears a real dog collar because his original black felt collar has worn away long ago.
He is now retired and spends his days on a shelf in the closet. I see him there every day but I rarely handle him. I guess Adam Luther, my CPK, has taken his place. But, I am still as loyal to him as he has been to me."
You can see just how worn my Clifford really is...see how thread bare? His eyebrows are practically gone and his mouth has worn off too!
