shcg: maybe you have heard me say that when i get embellishments i have an anxiety attack. this is beautiful. the layering is great and the colors are wonderful the pic is cute.
Oh DeAnna this is amazing! There is SO MUCH great stuff to look at, and you've laid it out so well. I really like the background paper and all it's colors...!!
SHCG: This layout is beautifully layered and the colors create such a warm feel. The picture is perfect! Such a great shot! Did you climb this with a group? I'd love to know the story. I really can't suggest any changes here, because I think it looks fabulous!
SHCG: Your hand painted bg is exquisite, and the look on your face in that shirt is great! I love how your photo goes through that black circle, and I'm cool with all the layering. I like how you underlined the words in the William Feather quote, but I wish they were spaced closer together and took up a smaller block, because its size seems to compete with the title squares. I also think that so many phrases and quotes (you have three + the two titles) on one page are competing with each other. I'd remove the Olde English one at the bottom and move the ribbon there. The ribbon seems too heavy where it is now. I'd definitely like to know the story behind this one.
SHCG: This is beautiful and I love it as is but if I were to change anything I think the background would be a little better if it werent a mix of so many colors, maybe just one or 2 colors and maybe take out the leaves to make it look a little less busy. I really do love it as is though also, the colors are earthy and go well with the whole theme of the lo.
SHCG: LUV the gold ink but wow are there a whole lot of things going on. This is hard for me to say because I sure have made my share of "busy" pages but this may be a little too much of a good thing...ribbin and flowers and leaves and lace and photo anchors and chip letters and tile and circles and brads and stamping and metal and...
GRC~My friend you get a standing ovation for this one! Whoohoo! I love the collage feel of it ( you knew I would!), the colors and great use of your gold embossing powder!
SHCG - Wow, DeAnna, this is amazing! I love the photo, love the array of visual interest you put together here - the patterns, embossing, textures, all the various elements. You remain in the same rich neutral-ish palette but stay alive in beautiful color! The painted background is EXCELLENT, lovely & artistic! Now, Jesse & I are kinda on the same page, because the 1st thing I thought is that I'd want to know maybe just a sentence about how you were feeling, &/or what brought you to Glass Mountain that day. This can be added in a narrow journaling strip somewhere, or as Jesse suggested, hidden somewhere. Or maybe just written on the back for your own reference. But I'd want to preserve the story somehow. Overall, you did a crazy fantastic job on this, I applaud your incredible creativity, girlfriend!!
SHCG: This is beautiful! I love all the layers of stamps and ribbons and swirls and flowers... my favorite part is the word live on the bootom right. Would I be right if I said it felt like there was a story behind the photo? If there is, maybe you could hide some journaling about it somewhere.
