This is for LonelyScrapper. Showing her how I use my own design 12 x 12 paper in a layout when I don't have a 12 x 12 printer.
For anyone else who is curious, here is what I do.
1.) I design my paper in Word or Adobe.
2.)Set the paper size to 8 1/2 x 12.
3.) Cut 12 x 12 cardstock to 8 1/2 x 12.
4.) Load paper and print normally.
Typically, I use my own paper as a border, accent or layer and a full sheet of cardstock to make up the difference between 8 1/2 and 12. Sometimes, depending on the design of the paper, I have to use a coordinating paper (the stripes at the top and bottom - which I also designed for this purpose) to fill in the "print area" (the blank space) left by the printer).
I'm sure that is just as clear as mud, but maybe since you can see it in the picture... Which isn't great either since my scanner will only scan 11.70 inches instead of the full 12. Ah, well, hopefully you will get the idea.
