The first time I saw you I was six weeks pregnant and at the doctor’s office for my first prenatal checkup and ultrasound. There you were on the screen a tiny little dot that was barely visible but there was your heart that I could see going lub-dub, lub-dub beating as fast as it could. At that exact moment I fell in love with you and became your protector. When you were born and Dr. Vining placed you on my stomach and I touched your little head I knew at that moment I loved you more than anything in this world. I feel fortunate that God has given us a precious and beautiful child to love unconditionally and to be forever in our hearts. It has been almost five years since your birth and my love for you has grown stronger with each day. I will love you forever and for always my sweet Abbygail.
