Journaling:
These eyes belong to sisters. They came from the same parents. Have seen many of the same things as children. But yet these eyes saw them differently. I'm sure it has something to do with birth order. Whatever it is, I just don't understand, how two sisters can look back at their childhood, seeing things so differently and ended up with completely different lives! When we talk about the past our stories rarely match. One saw very little food, the other has seen lots of baking and canning. One witnessed violence between parents, the other was protected by the first. These stories could go on! There is one thing that both of these eye have seen and that is tough times! Both were forgotten by their biological father, struggle with their weight and acceptance of others. While one has forgiven the past, the other is living in the past. Why?? There is no way that this set of eyes want so go back there! I've moved on, grew up, and have accepted the things that happened along lifes path. Many lessons have been learned along the way. If I had not experienced what I experienced, then I would not be who I am today! You know what, I like who I am! There was only one way for me to be able to be in this position. I believe that it is because I've found a heavenly father, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! No longer do I have to worry about the things that life throws at me. The Lord of all creation has it all taken care of. He has my back! lol Boy, has he taken a load off my shoulders. I just pray that someday the other set of eyes will find the joy and peace in life that these eyes have found. That someday they will not have to pretend to be happy, they will be. Those eyes will forgive the things of the past as these eyes have. Thank you Jesus!!
